Full set of PDF patterns for in the Toy Show Window quilt raw edge applique tutorial free motion embroidery

Full PDF pattern set for 'In the Toy shop window'. (does not include fabric, printed instructions only).

The quilt measures 36" wide by 44" tall and has a patchwork background with raw edge applique mice and toys. I use no glue, paints, or fusible. Just fabric and thread.

The patchwork background is of a window frame, with red bricks surrounding, a snowy windowsill and dark green window frames with 9 panes. Inside the shop glows with yellows and tans.

The applique is cut from batik fabrics and layered to build up mice and their toys. There will be a central wreath and on the top sign it will say Merry Christmas. The toys will include soldiers, drums, musical boxes, dolls teddies, trains, planes, boats, spinning tops, rocking horses, building blocks etc. There will be Christmas decorations throughout, and snow on the bottom of the window panes. Outside there will be a few mice playing in the snow on the window sill.

The patterns contains the templates along with plenty of colour photographs through each step.

I don't teach you how to do free motion embroidery in this pattern, other than my own hints and tips, neither do I tell you how to set your machine up for free motion embroidery but I do give you all the stages for you to make your own embroidery.
