Fabric kit and Printed pattern for "Brock reads a book" raw edge applique tutorial free motion embroidery
Brock badger is ready for winter with his favourite book. (I'm not going to tell you what it is!) His pal, Robin, is with him and he even has a mug of hot chocolate!
This fabric kit and printed pattern is available one-off pattern. It is, however, available as part of a 9 block set of Victorian animals, which will look lovely together. This block measures 12" square.
It features a plain background with raw edge applique (sewn without fusible) secured with free-motion embroidery. The applique is cut from batik fabrics and layered to build up Miss Poppy and her garden.
The kit contains the applique fabric (BUT NOT the background fabric as people often like to pick their own) freezer paper and stabiliser.
