This pattern is for the barn owl and leaves, which forms pattern 9 of the Autumn Forest quilt. The block measures 10 by 12".
The quilt itself is in my usual style, so it is a patchwork background with raw edge applique sewn with free-motion embroidery. You don't need a fancy machine to stitch it but your machine needs to be able to do free-motion embroidery. The pattern contains basic instructions for the patchwork. I won't go into a lot of detail on patchwork as I am assuming that you know the basics but other than the odd half-square triangle, it is all pretty simple. I use raw edge techniques and the patterns are using those instructions, but you could also use needle turn techniques, but no instructions will be given. For some of the pieces, you would need additional fabric to use needle-turn. I do give a little extra, but it might be tight on some of the smaller pieces and you would need to purchase additional fabric.
Hopefully that all makes sense, but please don't hesitate to ask if anything is unclear.

Currently my turn around is 2 to 4 weeks. I am working to get this down and hopefully next year (2019) I will be operating under a 1 week turnaround. Please allow enough time when you are ordering, and if you do need something desperately then send me a message before you buy and I will see what I can do. I send smaller items in the UK by Royal mail, and for overseas. Larger items are sent by My Hermes courier so they are insured. Larger orders will require a signature on receipt.

If your item doesn't arrive to you in tip top condition, please let me know ASAP and we can sort something out, either by a part/full refund or returning the item (I would cover the postage costs.) If you don't like the item once it is in your hands (I am sure this could NEVER happen) then contact me and we can arrange for you to return the item for a full refund assuming it is still in tip top condition but I'm afraid I would ask you to cover the return postage costs unless there is an actual fault.
