Dressmaking fabric Flower green garden border fabric linen jersey cotton

This fabric is surface printed with my own design of garden flowers. It is a border print with the flowers on each of the selvage edges and a plain green in the middle.

Please choose from either:
Stretch cotton jersey (56" wide... 95% cotton, 5% spandex, 170gms),
Faux linen(54" wide....100% polyester, 330gms) (has a linen like texture)
Plain cotton (57" wide... 100% cotton, 130gms)
Soft canvas (56" wide.... 100% polyester, 260gms)

I made up a pair of trousers cutting out the pieces cross grain to get the pattern along the hem. (I've used the faux linen which is a heavy weight with some drape)

It is sold per metre (no part cuts I'm afraid!) and the width is as given above.
I would advise pre washing it and to allow up to 3% shrinkage for the polyester and 10% for the cottons. (This is what I experienced when washing mine.) Wash as delicate on 30 degrees Celsius and dry flat.
(I popped mine in the tumble dryer and it was fine but the manufacturer/printer does not recommend this.)
If you purchase more than 1 metre it will be supplied as a continuous length.

Raggedy Ruff Sewing patterns, fabric kits, handspun wool and finished sewn items are not designed for children under the age of 3 years. The plastic bags the sewing patterns and fabric kits are packaged in a plastic grip seal bag which represents a choking hazard to children under 3. Fabric kits contain small fabric pieces which also represent a choking hazard. Hand spun wool represents a choking hazard.

The patterns themselves assume you will be using standard sewing equipment like rotary cutters, scissors, needles and sewing machines. You should take suitable care when following the instructions and do so at your own risk. The patterns are intended for adults and if older children are following using them, it should only be done under the careful supervision of a responsible adult.

All patterns and kits are clearly identified by the title on the online listing and physically on the accompanying paperwork.

Descriptions of contents:

Printed patterns contain printed paper and are packaged in a grip seal polythene plastic bag.

Digital patterns consist of a PDF that is downloaded by the customer.

Fabric kits contain printed paper, cotton and cotton/linen blend fabrics, waxed freezer paper, adhesive labels and a paper-based tearaway stabiliser, packaged in a grip seal polythene plastic bag.

Fabric panels contain cotton fabric packaged in a grip seal polythene plastic bag.

Finished fabric pieces contain cotton and cotton blend fabrics, polyester wadding, cotton, polyester and rayon embroidery threads. Packaged in tissue paper.
