Printed pattern with fabric kit for raw edge applique using free motion embroidery.
This pattern contains the templates for my pondering polar bear design along with plenty of colour photographs through each step.
The fabric includes the batik fabrics, the shot linen for the background, felt, stabiliser and freezer paper.

This polar bear will be one in nine of my Arctic animal series and will have a large quilt design which the design can be incorporated into.

I don't teach you how to do free motion embroidery in this pattern, other than my own hints and tips, neither do I tell you how to set your machine up for free motion embroidery but I do give you all the stages for you to make your own embroidery.

There are two sizes in the pattern, the standard one for the size I sell as a finished product (7.75 by 5.75")and a larger one with a finished size of 11.5" by 8.5" which would be ideal for beginners or for use for hand embroidery or needle turn applique. The pattern doesn't give details for those technqiues but you would be very welcome to use my patterns to try those methods.
