Printed pattern for raw edge applique using free motion embroidery. This is Agatha, lady's maid to Miss Conkerly, who is having some trouble getting her corsets fastened.
This is the fifth block in what I hope will be a long series of 15 similar sized blocks, all based on life in a Victorian house, both above and below stairs. At the minute I'm estimating the quilt will be around 42" by 60" but I have a fair way to go before I can confirm that. I'm hoping to use the borders to build up a house complete with roof and chimney :) This block measures 8 by 12" finished (8.5 by 12.5" unfinished.)
I will be looking to complete the remaining blocks over the summer months if you wish to do the full quilt, otherwise it would make a lovely standalone panel.
This pattern contains the templates along with plenty of colour photographs through each step.
I don't teach you how to do free motion embroidery in this pattern, other than my own hints and tips, neither do I tell you how to set your machine up for free motion embroidery but I do give you all the stages for you to make your own embroidery.
