PDF pattern for raw edge applique using free motion embroidery.
This is the 6th block of a series of 6 pirate themed panels with mice :) This pattern contains the treasure block, measuring 9 by 13" finished. There full quilt measures 26 by 26" and the pirate ship is in the central section. The quilt has a soft coloured background with creams and neutrals around the outside, and then the patchwork colours are selected to give the impression of a circle in the centre. The upper half are sky colours and the lower half are sea/water colours.
The central block features the pirate ship, the Scurvy Cheddar and some of the crew. The Captain Harry Elm is behind the wheel. The remaining 4 corner blocks will feature scenes like drunken sailors or digging for the treasure.
This pattern contains the templates along with plenty of colour photographs through each step.
I don't teach you how to do free motion embroidery in this pattern, other than my own hints and tips, neither do I tell you how to set your machine up for free motion embroidery but I do give you all the stages for you to make your own embroidery.
